SZU PRIMOS – Interlocking monitoring

Pilot operation for the predictive monitoring of a signal box.

1.1 Situation

With PRIMOS (Predictive Railway Infrastructure Monitoring System), SZU pursues the vision of a central “technical control room”: the condition of the technical infrastructure is monitored continuously and faults are detected before they affect operations.

1.2 Approach

Clovero implements the pilot operation for monitoring an interlocking – from data connection and automated evaluation to visualisation for operations and maintenance.

1.3 Outcome

The pilot lays the foundation for a scalable platform that can be extended step by step to further installations and disciplines – towards predictive, condition-based maintenance.

New Axenstrasse – Construction site monitoring

Online evaluation of vibration measurements during drill-and-blast tunnelling.

2.1 Situation

The Axenstrasse is a lifeline for Central Switzerland and an important international transport route. With the Sisikon and Morschach tunnels it receives a new, safe alignment. Construction of the A4 New Axenstrasse officially started on 23 August 2023.

2.2 Approach

Clovero supports Ingenieurbureau Heierli AG in monitoring the drill-and-blast excavation. Vibration measurements are captured automatically, evaluated online and presented to those responsible immediately.

2.3 Outcome

Instead of delayed individual evaluations, results are available online after every blast – a reliable basis for decisions on site.

Situation analysis of flow measurements

Plausibility check of the h-v-Q relationship using calibration measurements.

3.1 Situation

The flow measurements of the Buchs Sevelen Grabs wastewater association can be analysed online. Initial evaluations, however, showed that some values were not plausible.

3.2 Approach

To verify the h-(v)-Q relationship between level and velocity sensors, additional calibration instruments were installed. Clovero carries out a comprehensive analysis of the situation.

3.3 Outcome

The association gains a well-founded statement on which measurement data is reliable – and where sensors or evaluation need to be adjusted.

Option study: measurement system for ammunition facilities

Baseline study on monitoring ammunition facilities.

4.1 Situation

As part of a baseline study, measurement systems are evaluated that allow ammunition facilities to be monitored reliably – under demanding conditions and against clearly defined objectives.

4.2 Approach

On behalf of Bienz, Kummer & Partner AG, Clovero contributes expertise in data acquisition methodology, instrumentation and evaluation, and assesses the options systematically.

4.3 Outcome

Results are delivered as a report and, where appropriate, a prototype – as a basis for decisions on further implementation.
